Thursday, May 30, 7 - 9 pm – Cancer Support Community Greater Miami
Guest Speaker: Ranjan Duara, M.D.
Mt. Sinai Medical Center

Many persons treated with chemotherapy report lingering cognitive side effects including memory loss, forgetfulness and difficulty concentrating, among others. The difficulties can emerge in the weeks and months after chemotherapy completion. Dr. Duara will discuss the impact of chemotherapy on day-to-day cognitive function. He will share with us what science is still investigating about the very common but poorly understood “chemobrain”.
